  1. ummm… which are the real deal and which reflections?

  2. I love reflections in photographs i took a lot like that while I was travelling and enjoy them. Well done

  3. Fascinating. The shimmer in the reflection and the line that separates it from the focused trees reminds me of the shift between dreaming and waking up softly in the morning. And the image as whole gives me the impression of a single celled organism. Thanks. Great eye you have.

  4. Hi Babsje. Wonderful shot even through it is now upside down. Got a sore head standing on my head!!!! May I wish you a very HaPPY NEW YEAR and hope you SEE many birds in 2014

  5. What a great shot! I looked hard for the heron but couldn’t find him 🙂
    Best wishes for 2014!

    • Thanks for your kind words! Good joke! 🙂 When this was taken, the herons had migrated for the winter, but their nests remain, although too small to be seen in this too-small photo! Happy New Year to you, too!
