  1. A perfect photo to start the new year! May good things come your way in 2014!

    • What a lovely thing to say about starting the year with the Phoenix imagery, thank you! Wishing you and yours all good things in the coming year, too.

  2. Great photo of the Heron in-flight. I also read the previous post about your encounter with the Snowy Owl. Wonderful! I hope the New Year is a good one for you!

  3. Great picture. Thinking about the Snowy Owl – the best way to get a subject to pose for you is to leave the camera at home!!

    Oh well!

    Cheers – Stewart M – Melbourne

    • Thanks, and how right you are, Stewart! Definitely the best way to get a bird to pose. The best way to get a Bald Eagle here is to leave the lens cap on. 😉

  4. Hi Babje. fantastic flight shot of Heron and I also loved the Snowy Owl. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

  5. This is an amazing shot.

  6. WOW! I have been away from my computer this past week, but what a treat to find this photo!!!!
