I’m beginning to recognize the difference! (so proud of myself!) 🙂
Thanks! Good job! But just wait til further along in the year – after the breeding season, the male’s bulb shrinks and they look more alike. There is a non-breeding pair here and I haven’t figured out which is which. The neck of the males tend to be wider, so that’s one clue, but you need to see them at a good angle to tell. Glad you liked this one.
Nice pic here. When they’re chasing you, you don’t care which is which.
