Great Blue Heron With Water Lilies

If climate change and/or El Nino keep it up, will the cove eventually be this lush in December?

Thanks to Michelle W and WordPress for the recent WPC Challenge: Eye Spy. Eye spy with my camera’s eye this Great Blue Heron spying a Bass with his sharp eye.

A selection of my heron and flower photos is now available at the Five Crows Gallery in Natick, MA. Drop in and see the work of the many wonderfully creative artists who show there when you’re in the area.

  1. Hi, welcome back! I wish you a good 2016 for you, your camera and the herons 🙂

  2. Oh, your cove is really lush! Love the muted colors. All the best to you in 2016! I am happy with the warming due to El Nino and/or climate change.

    • So glad you like this Great Blue Heron, thanks for your kind words. And so much for the unseasonably warm weather here, snow is expected tomorrow. I sometimes wonder what it is like for the year’s new crop of fledged birds to experience snow for the first time the see it falling down all around them. Happy 2016 to you, too. Best, Babsje

  3. Hij heeft zich wel een heel mooi plekje gevonden tussen die waterlelies en de kans is groot dat hij hier een kikker verschalkt
