Thanks to Wordless Wednesday for the Wordless Wednesday challenge.
Thanks to Ese for her Ese’s Weekly Shoot & Quote Challenge: Memories prompt. “Now,,where did imput my glasses, erm dragonfly?” the heron asked, wondering where his memory has gone. Often, I wonder about their memories, the herons.
Thanks once again to Stewart Monckton for the Wild Bird Wednesday prompt.
Thanks again to Cee for the Fun Foto Challenge prompt.
Thanks again to Michelle for the Weekly Pet Roundup prompt.

Thanks, Dave, glad you like this one. Yes, it’s always fun when something like this happens at the lake. Dragonflies are sometimes a snack for the heron, but not that particular day!
Wonderful fun title and capture. Animals sure can make us happy! Thanks for playing!
Thanks, Cee, you’re right about that. Btw, I love your alpaca photo, speaking of animals being fun and making people happy!

This is absolutely stunning capture!
PS: I am sorry there was no challenge last Sunday. I have been on the road constanty for almost 2 weeks but I promise the challenge will be back this weekend again.
I’m so glad you like it! I felt fortunate to be in the right place at the right time for this one. No worries about a week off from the challenge, but hope you can get some R&R time for yourself once home from the road. Best, Babsje
Terrific shot of my favorite bird!
Thanks for your kind comment, Phil, so glad you like it!
Dragonflies do land on anything. Good thing the Heron was preoccupied!
Thanks Wayne. I wish that photo wasn’t overly bright. Noon-time sun strikes again, but the moment was too fun to pass by. Best, Babsje
one of the reasons why I only go out near sunset. I avoid those white outs. Horizontal light good, vertical light bad.
Exactly! Your lighting is always excellent.
